Bible
Analysis
Bible Analysis is a system of taking apart,
analyzing, and putting together of the entire Bible. It
consists of a thorough study of the Bible based on II
Timothy 2:15. It is a basic course on the methods of study
and proper interpretation of the Bible.
Old Testament Survey
A chronological study of the Old Testament with
attention to the introduction, history, background and
outline of each book. This course provides a survey from
Genesis through Malachi or from creation to the
inter-biblical period.
Systematic Theology
This course is divided into five sections each
semester.
First Semester – Bibliology, Theology, Christology,
Pneumatology and Anthropology.
Second Semester – Hamartiology, Soteriology,
Ecclesiology, Angelology, and Eschatology.
New Testament Survey
This survey course is designed to give a synopsis of
each book, as well as something about the writer, the
setting, the customs and the events surrounding each book
of the New Testament, together with its significance
relating to the values of Inspiration, is also covered in
this course.
Bible in Eight Ages
A fundamental Bible course dealing with eight
dispensations beginning with God and creation form thence
through the history of the Old Testament. The first
semester is occupied with four ages up to the giving of
the Law at Sinai. The second semester we study from the
law through the millennium.
Defense of the Faith
A study of the cardinal doctrines of the bible as
taught by the New Testament church is made in this class.
The student is given a Bible foundation for these truths.
Pastoral Epistles
This is an exegetical study of the letters written to
Timothy and Titus. Emphasis is upon the application of
biblical truths found in these books to present day
churches and pastors.
Pauline Epistles
This is an exegetical study of the letters written by
Paul except for the letters written to Timothy and Titus,
which are studied in another course.
Hermeneutics
This course is designed to introduce the student to
the principles of sound Biblical interpretation. This will
also be a systematic study of Biblical figures of speech.
Harmony of the Gospels
A course of study harmonizing the Gospels both
chronologically and theologically.
Bible Prophecy
Prophecy is no more than history written in advance.
It is important for every believer to understand the
fundamentals of Bible Prophecy, and this course is
designed to give you that education in a clear and
enjoyable format.

I
This course is a comprehensive study of principles of
correct usages of parts of speech. Application of these
principles is given in oral and written exercises. This
course is designed to stimulate the student to think and
write more correctly.
Thesis Writing
Principles and techniques of library research will be
studied within a laboratory setting. This course begins
the student’s thesis project. During this course, the
student selects thesis topics and prepares a working
outline for approval.
Bible Language Department
Beginners
Greek
An introduction to the Greek of the New Testament is
obtained in this course, including alphabet, inflection
and vocabulary building. This course will help you in
using a Greek Lexicon.
Beginners Hebrew
This is a foundational course in the Hebrew language.
It begins with basic fundamental and progresses into basic
grammar.
History Department
Baptist
History
This course is taught with the concept that Baptist
Churches originated during the public ministry of Jesus
Christ on earth, and have continued until the present time
with an unbroken succession. The history of these churches
is studied form their origin to the American continent,
and concluded with a study of the origin of the leading
Baptist movements in
America
.
Leadership Department
Evangelism
This is a study of the moral, social, and spiritual
qualifications of the personal soul-winner. This course is
also designed to challenge and motivate students to become
real soul-winners.
Missions
This course acquaints the students with situations
and methods common to the mission field, whether local,
state, interstate or foreign. This course is designed to
light a fire in the heart of every students to become more
mission minded.
Homiletics / Sermonizing
This is an introduction to and experiences in
learning to build sermons in a scriptural and logical
manner, while filling the need of the hour. Oral and
written constructive criticism is offered in this course.
Bible Manners and Customs
This course is designed to enrich the students
understanding of the customs of the people living at the
time the Bible was written. An understanding in this field
will enable the student to better understand many culled
“hard to understand” passages of Scriptures.
Biblical Geography
A course of study to acquaint the student with both
the historical and geographical backgrounds of the
Biblical record. The lands of Bible events are studied
with an attempt to put the student mentally in the same
environment in which they transcribed, with a view toward
more accurate interpretation of the Scriptures.
Ministerial Practicalities
A study of the everyday practical needs of the
minister, to give him guidance, not only in such
responsibilities at the church, or on the mission field,
but also in the handling of his own personal and business
affairs.
Teaching Techniques
This course considers the law of teaching together
with available methods of today that may be used to
instruct students. The aims of teaching, the selection and
organization of subject matter, planning, recitation and
supervised study are considered. The student is taught to
teach for results.
Church Administration
Deals with the organization and administration of
church activities. The student is acquainted with the
nature of the churches of the New Testament and their
goals.
Cults
This course will concentrate on developing a concise, but non-exhaustive,
knowledge of the false doctrine and heretical viewpoints
of the occult, some predominate cults, and the most
popular world religions. Instruction will consist of
lecturing, reading, refuting, and basic memorization of
what saith the Word of God. |
